Zinno paying for Berlin performance
The WSOP Europe tournament series didn't go according to plan for the Player of the Year 1st place ranking Anthony Zinno, who made the trip to Berlin but got eliminated from the Main Event on Day 1. In his defense, many huge names quickly fell at the tournament in the qualification stage, among them Phil Hellmuth, Marton Jacobson and Ole Schemion, who all came short of expectations and lost out on nice winnings at the giga-tour. However, Zinno hasn't been in top form in the past few months, with no major wins, so his standing on the head of the GPI rankings is in more and more jeopardy. He is only about 100 points ahead of Byron Kaverman, who is posed to take over the lead.
