Poker World Championship have kicked off
After many months of waiting, the pack of the November Nine heads off to Las Vegas again, those nine players who made the cut to the final table through World Series of Poker main event in the summer. The time has come to decide who will be the World Champion for 2015! And also how much the winner will take home, since every single player who has made it this far is already guaranteed a cool $1 million, which is still "nothing" compared to the biggest chunk from the prize pool to the winner - a $7.6 million amount, which is a bit shy of Martin Jacobson's awesome win of $10 million last year but still a massive sum. And of course the title to boot!
It would be hard to tip who will come out on top in the end out of the nine contenders, since the stress and pressure can get to the best of players. A good indicator of the situation is that Max Steinberg is the only one with a WSOP bracelet, the Belgian pro Pierre Neuville leads the pack in the number of times he has been at his money at live tours (19), and the least experienced player at the table, Joshua Beckley has won $20 thousand at previous WSOP events. It really is anyone's game.
