James Woods on top of poker game
It's no secret that the second favorite activity of James Woods, other than acting of course, is poker, purely for the passion of the game and obvioulsy not for the money. He has been attending live tournaments regularly for the past 10 years since 2004 and has even won an event, so he didn't arrive without hope to the WPT LA Poker Classic. Not to the Main Event though, but to the $1,100 Omaha 8 or Better tournament, alongside 88 other players taking part. In a blink of an eye, Woods was in the heads-up, against Mack Lee, who has been playing pro since 1994 and even though he is not considered a top player, he has accumulated over $1 million during his long career. However, Woods was in top form for the finals, so the battle of the old-timers was quite fast, with the film star coming in on top, earning his second event title and $21,000 from the pot.
