German Ace voted best player at WSOP
It has only happened twice that a non-American won the WSOP "Player of the Year" title, but now the a new name can be added to this list, alongside the Canadian Daniel Negreanu and the Australian-Italian Jeffrey Lisandro, since this year's illustrious title went to George Danzer. The German pro has collected three championship bracelets in 2014, made the final table on five separate occasions, and was at his money at ten WSOP tours. With such a performance, he was almost 100 points up from the second place finisher, the American Brandon Shack-Harris.
