Volpe' summer of $1 million
Paul Volpe has only been attending live poker tournaments since the start of the year, however he quickly got into the rythm and took his first major victory in Atlantic City at the Borgata Spring Poker Open, where he won over $300,000. The American has extended his winnings by another $1 million since then, so no surprise that he is further along on the Player of the Year rankings, jumping two positions to the number two spot. Of course, this success pales in comparison to Fedor Holz's $5 million winning spree, which is securing him the top podium spot on the illustrious POY rankings.
