Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, the Thai owner of the football club Leicester City promised thirty Mercedes-Benz B class electronic cars to the players of the team for winning the Premier League, however the promise was not kept. When the members of the team were escorted to the lot of the club for the surprise, no Mercedes was waiting for them, since Vichai had a change of heart. Instead of the B Class, the club owner decided to raise the value of the gift package to 2 million British pounds and buy 19 BMW i8's instead. This probably didn't cause any heartaches, since players will get to arrive to practice in a car worth twice as much as the original.
